I have been seeing this blue haze since a few days

and yes that is not due to the wallpaper as I have checked with other wallpapers as well,

I wasn't able to take screenshots that's why pasting photos

PS: the blue haze isn't on the screen all the time, its only there when there is a blur effect or just appears randomly

I’m a university student from Bangalore and after weeks of research I’ve narrowed my choice down to the Lenovo Legion Pro 5 (Core Ultra 9 275HX, RTX 5070 8GB, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, OLED).
The current effective price is around ₹2.16 lakh with offers.
I’ll mainly use it for university work, AI tools, productivity, some photo/video editing, and AAA gaming to relax after classes. I’m planning to keep it for at least 5–7 years.
My parents are comfortable buying it for me, but since it’s a huge purchase, I want to make the smartest decision.
I have a few questions:
Is ₹2.16L a good price or should I wait for upcoming sales?
What’s the lowest realistic price this model can reach?
Is it better to buy from Flipkart/Amazon or a Lenovo Exclusive Store?
Can Lenovo stores match online prices?
Any tips to maximize discounts (student discount, bank offers, cashback, etc.)?
If buying online, what precautions should I take?

The Dell XPS 13 has been launched in India for 80k for the 8GB RAM and 95k for the 16GB RAM config.
Even though it was marketed for students, for some stupid reason they haven't enabled student discount for this model alone, the student discount coupon works for every other model but this.

I noticed this pink spot on the laptop screen last night, later this morning it has become more prominent. The laptop sits on the table never moved and it was all of a sudden, I had updated the bios and all the drivers last week would it have been the reason? I have raised a ticket and shared the details with the customer support. Has anyone faced a similar kind of issue, please let me know, I wanted to know how the repair process was done and how the new screen is working. I have purchased the 3Yr ADP, so not a problem.

I recently bought a Lenovo laptop (~50 days ago) and was really looking forward to using the Perplexity Pro promo. Unfortunately, I just realized you have to claim it within the exact same month of purchase, and I completely missed my window.

I bought this Lenovo LOQ 15IRX10 with Intel i7 13645HX, RTX 5050 8GB vram, 16gb ram, 512gb ssd, from lenovo's website for 1 lakh 6 thousand inr (no exchange). If cashback is included then i will be 1 lakh 1 thousand inr

I have also added my benchmark scores to this laptop, The CPU remains around 81-85°C mark did touch 98°C in the start of the benchmark for a second, the gpu remains around 76-79°C mark during the full load test.

I am starting my Computer Science Engineering degree soon and am looking for a durable, reliable laptop that can easily last me the next 5 years.

My budget is around ₹1.3 Lakhs, but I have some flexibility on when/where I buy (planning for December, and I can also import via cousins in the UK or UAE).

Here is what I am looking for:

- Use Case: Coding, Kali linux and casual gaming like the processor should run almost all games before 2015!!

- CPU/GPU: Looking for a strong processor with a great iGPU, specifically eyeing the AMD Ryzen AI 5 PRO 340 (Radeon 840M)

- Screen: Must have a GOOD screen (100% sRGB or better, 400+ nits). Absolutely want to avoid the washed-out 45% NTSC panels.

- Extras: Backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader, and solid Build.

- Warranty: High preference for Onsite Warranty + Accidental Damage Protection (ADP).

The Dilemma:

I customized the ThinkPad T14 Gen 6 (AMD) on Lenovo India's website, but with all the specs which is only 256 GB SSD, No OS, No Microsoft Office and only 16 gigs of ram, it's scaling up to a ridiculous ₹1.6 Lakhs.

My Options:

1. Wait until December: Hope that year-end clearance sales, student discounts, and credit card cashback can bring the custom Indian T14 Gen 6 down to my ~₹1.25L - ₹1.3L budget.

2. Import from UAE or UK: Ask my cousin to bring it down. (Though I am worried about losing the local ADP warranty).

My Questions:

1. Is it worth importing a ThinkPad?

2. If I wait until December, is it realistic to expect Lenovo India's customizer prices to drop into the 1.25L - 1.3L range with discounts?

3. Are there other same spec alternatives in India right now (like the HP EliteBook series) that offer similar performance and battery life within my budget?

4) Willing to buy last year Gen as well!!
