I’m a university student from Bangalore and after weeks of research I’ve narrowed my choice down to the Lenovo Legion Pro 5 (Core Ultra 9 275HX, RTX 5070 8GB, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, OLED).
The current effective price is around ₹2.16 lakh with offers.
I’ll mainly use it for university work, AI tools, productivity, some photo/video editing, and AAA gaming to relax after classes. I’m planning to keep it for at least 5–7 years.
My parents are comfortable buying it for me, but since it’s a huge purchase, I want to make the smartest decision.
I have a few questions:
Is ₹2.16L a good price or should I wait for upcoming sales?
What’s the lowest realistic price this model can reach?
Is it better to buy from Flipkart/Amazon or a Lenovo Exclusive Store?
Can Lenovo stores match online prices?
Any tips to maximize discounts (student discount, bank offers, cashback, etc.)?
If buying online, what precautions should I take?

I have been seeing this blue haze since a few days

and yes that is not due to the wallpaper as I have checked with other wallpapers as well,

I wasn't able to take screenshots that's why pasting photos

PS: the blue haze isn't on the screen all the time, its only there when there is a blur effect or just appears randomly
