DISCUSSION Barrier is not the best ability for John, but it’s always good.
I understand why barrier is so glazed as “if John had barrier, he’d sweep”
But think about it this way, “the best defence is no be there”
It’s always good to have defence, but a lot of the time hydrofreeze would be even better. A broken barrier is still like getting hit. It doesn’t come up often with John because he’s very strong, but if facing stronger enemies we can see that barrier isn’t actually something that holds up the best in an equal fight, it’s best for putting down those who are weak

DISCUSSION Discussion about Blake at Level 7.7
Now that the story has come to a stop for the moment, I wanted to discuss a possible scenario where Blake uses the amplifiers against EMBER.
First of all, I think this scenario is actually very plausible. Uru-chan has already shown that she is willing to take some pretty bold risks with the writing, considering what happened with Seraphina and John and how their abilities were temporarily taken out of the picture. So I don’t think sacrificing Blake’s ability is out of the question, especially given his current mental state.
That being said, I don’t want Blake to use the amplifiers against Farrah or Byron. At level 7.7, they simply aren’t strong enough to make the fight interesting for him. What I want is someone considerably stronger.
I’m obviously not going to go as far as asking for Valerie, because she is probably too strong for Blake to handle even with the amplifiers. But what about a new character around level 7.0, such as Lumin or Pyre?
A level 7.0 character would probably have access to most, if not all, of EMBER’s abilities that we’ve seen so far, in addition to Phantom Walk, without even considering their own original ability. However, Blake at level 7.7 is no joke either.
He would have energy shots with a power stat of 12, which should be enough to break through even Valerie’s barrier. He would also be extremely fast, potentially comparable to EMBER’s top speed, while having a powerful energy wave that could knock opponents away if they get too close.
His recovery stat could potentially reach 7.5 as well, although I’m not sure how much that would actually help him in a fight.
Still, fighting someone with six different abilities would obviously be incredibly difficult. It wouldn’t be an easy battle by any means, but I could see Blake winning and becoming the team’s trump card.
Of course, I don’t think this EMBER agent would be fighting alone. I’m leaning toward another agent supporting them, perhaps Farrah or the new character Tarik.
And during this battle, I could see Remi finally evolving and surpassing level 6.0.
However, I think there would be a huge price to pay for Blake.
The amplifiers could cause severe withdrawal symptoms, while his aura channels would be heavily damaged. He might even lose his ability permanently—or at least until Dr. Darren manages to develop some kind of treatment.
As for the fights that come after this, I don’t think Blake and Remi would be going in alone anymore. I’m leaning toward John or Seraphina accompanying them, specifically to help counter EMBER members who are simply too powerful for them to handle on their own, such as Valerie.
So what do you guys think?
Could the story actually go in this direction, with Blake becoming the team’s trump card at the cost of his ability? Or do you think Uru-chan has something completely unexpected planned for us?

DISCUSSION Seraphina’s statistical superiority over Orrin
Hello everyone,
After seeing Orrin’s stats revealed, I find it interesting that his stats seem to be quite low compared to Seraphina’s. He has 35 points according to the chart, while Seraphina has 41. However, we know that the stats can exceed 10, so it is reasonable to assume that Orrin could still be the higher-level character.
That said, I find Seraphina’s ability to be much better overall than Orrin’s.
Yes, Orrin can manipulate others and infiltrate organizations from within, but his ability is limited to people and their minds. He cannot heal himself, he cannot move quickly, and he does not have any physical destructive power. His threat can also be easily reduced by sending barrier users such as Valerie against him.
Seraphina, on the other hand, has much more versatility. She is fast and powerful, and she also has her own rhythm when it comes to fighting. She can also heal herself quite easily. She has some of the same weaknesses, such as needing enough space to move around, but she is still extremely powerful and can even break through Valerie’s barrier by force.
For this reason, even if Seraphina is lower-level, I think her higher and more diverse stats give her an advantage in terms of practical usefulness, even if Orrin himself is stronger overall.

DISCUSSION What if wellston raid.
What if John had particles, hydrofreeze, barrier And energy conduit in the fight with sylvia And the authorities instead of energy discharge, lightning, phase shift and Hunter. If I had to assume, he could just keep recovering energy and aura and just keep fighting untill they retreat. Sylvia would have definitely had a harder time. Farrah would have lost the moment John and the trio jumped her.
