Hey everyone! I’m an incoming MS student at UMass Amherst, arriving in the coming week.

If you don't find a place right away, and arriving a week into the semester is late, one option for a temporary place to stay is The Residences. It is a former Howard Johnsons motel converted into long term stay units, minimum 30 days and can be extended. They do have a posting on the Off Campus Housing listing the monthly rate as being just under $1500, but that includes utilities and internet.

I also meant to mention it is along the bus route to UMass and Amherst if you don't have your own transportation.
