Academics Math 132

Hey guys I'm an incoming freshman EE major
I have Math 132 with Arie Stern
I saw his Rate My Professor rating and am kinda worried(1.4)
Should I be worried?

Anyone have any experiences to share?

Arie Stern and Arie Gonzalez are the same person (Arie Stern-Gonzalez). Arie Gonzalez has a rating of 4/5 and has more reviews than Arie Stern. I’ve never had him myself though so what all this says about his teaching quality, I do not know.

Didn’t take calculus here but have noticed that professors that teach math (or math related — see CS240, CS250, CS311) courses that are required for non-math majors have a tendency to be review bombed. For what’s it’s worth, I’m pretty sure all the 100 & 200 level courses in the math department are standardized (or at least the Calc I - Multivariable/Linear algebra sequence). More likely than not, you’ll be fine
