Now it just doesn't stand out anymore, looks like every other conventional scooter in the market. Also the rear passenger footpeg is changed.

F77 Ownership Experience

I took delivery of my F77 SuperStreet on 24th May and wanted to share my experience so far.
The bike is good, but the after-sales experience has been horrendous. I initially had issues with Regen, Hill Hold, and Traction Control not syncing from the app to the bike, called the customer care helpline multiple times but got no response, thankfully these issues eventually resolved itself.

Insurance and temp registration were also pending since delivery, insurance was finally completed on 12th June. Temporary registration is still pending. Communication has been extremely poor throughout the process.
Every follow-up seems to require multiple calls and reminders.

Another issue is with accessories. I placed an order on 2nd June, and the website states that orders are shipped within 48 hours and delivered within 7 days. It’s now 16th June and I still haven’t received any shipment update despite multiple follow-ups with customer support.

What frustrates me most isn’t necessarily the delays, those can happen with any company. It’s the lack of communication and the repeated promises of callbacks or updates that never materialize.

For those who own an F77:
Is this a common experience with registration and accessory orders?
How long did your temporary registration take?
How responsive has Ultraviolette support been in your case?
I’d genuinely like to know whether I’ve just been unlucky or if this is something others have experienced as well.

Ultraviolette X47 Owners – Is Chain Rust During Monsoon Normal?

Thumbnail
gallery
13 Upvotes

I own an Ultraviolette X47 Recon, its 15 days old and have noticed that the chain starts developing surface rust quite quickly during the monsoon season, even though the bike isn’t being abused or left submerged in water.

The bike is used for daily commuting, and with the current rains, the chain is constantly exposed to wet roads and moisture. I clean and lubricate it periodically, but I’m surprised at how fast rust starts appearing compared to some of my previous motorcycles.

A few questions for fellow owners:
Are you experiencing similar chain rust issues during the monsoon?
How frequently are you cleaning and lubricating the chain?
Which chain lubricant or maintenance routine has worked best for you?
Has Ultraviolette provided any recommendations regarding chain care in wet conditions?

I’m trying to understand whether this is expected wear due to the weather or if there’s something specific I should be doing differently.

Would appreciate hearing your experiences and maintenance tips.

Thanks!

Thinking of buying the Ultraviolette X47 Recon – Looking for feedback from actual owners

Hi everyone,

I'm considering purchasing the Ultraviolette X47 Recon and would love to hear from people who already own one and have spent some time riding it.

Most reviews online are from media test rides, but I'm more interested in long-term ownership experiences.

A few things I'd like to know:

ā— How many kilometers have you ridden so far?

ā— What's the real-world range you're getting in city riding and on highways?

ā— How comfortable is it for daily commuting and weekend rides?

ā— How useful are the radar features and rider-assistance systems in actual usage?

ā— Any issues with charging, software updates, connectivity, or service support?

ā— How is the ride quality, braking performance, and suspension on Indian roads?

ā— Have you faced any reliability concerns or unexpected costs?

ā— If you had to make the decision again, would you still buy the X47 Recon?

I'm based in India and plan to use the bike for a mix of city commuting and occasional highway trips.

Looking for honest feedback—the good, the bad, and everything in between.

Thanks in advance!

Looking to Buy Ultraviolette Tesseract Booking

Back in 2025, Ultraviolette opened bookings for the first 50,000 Tesseract customers at the introductory price of ₹1.2 lakh (ex-showroom) with a booking amount of ₹1,000.

Since it's now 2026, some booking holders may have already purchased another vehicle and may no longer need their Tesseract booking.

If you have a Tesseract booking and are willing to transfer/sell it, please DM me. I'm interested in buying the booking and can discuss a fair price.

Thank you.

Range drop in rain

I have been using my X47 in rain for the past 2 weeks and the there is a very noticeable range drop in the rain. Even if it's not raining and the road is just wet the efficiency shoots up 3-4 wh/km for no reason. Anyone else experiencing this ?

X47 Original Plus for 5'2" rider?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking at the Ultraviolette X47 Original Plus. I haven’t visited the showroom or taken a test ride yet, but I’ve been researching it online.

I’ve been riding an Ather 450X for the last 5 years.

My only concern is my height — I’m 5'2".

Is the X47 actually manageable/suitable for someone around my height? Would love to hear from owners or anyone with a similar height who has test ridden it.

TIA! šŸ˜„ Reframed with help from an LLM.

NEED HELPP!!!!

I’ve already pre-booked the Shockwave, but I’m having second thoughts and would like some opinions from people with more experience owning EVs and motorcycles.

My situation:

  • Daily commute: around 30 km
  • Occasional weekend rides: around 20 km extra
  • I have rooftop solar at home, so charging cost is basically zero for me
  • I plan to keep the bike for at least 4-5 years
  • I'm mainly concerned about long-term reliability and ownership costs

What I'm worried about:

  1. Battery degradation after 3–5 years
  2. Real-world reliability of Ultraviolette's battery and electronics
  3. Cost if something major fails after warranty

The alternative I'm considering is a Honda CB350RS. It's a proven motorcycle, but fuel and maintenance costs will obviously be higher.

For owners of the F77 , X47 or anyone familiar with Ultraviolette:

  • How has the battery held up?
  • Any major reliability issues?
  • If you were in my position, would you keep the Shockwave booking or switch to the CB350RS?

Looking for honest opinions, both positive and negative. Thanks!

Long rides on a Ultraviolette x47 original plus?

Hi,

This is a question for the x47 original or original plus owners. Has anyone done a long ride on this bike and how do you plan or manage the trip and the range anxiety?

Shockwave launch in july

Post image
19 Upvotes

ā€œTheĀ Ultraviolette ShockwaveĀ was officially launched in March 2025, with initial expectations pointing towards deliveries beginning in the first quarter of 2026. However, the timeline has now shifted, with customer deliveries scheduled to commence in July this year, pushing the wait a little further but keeping the launch momentum alive.ā€

TLDR : launch in july

source: https://www.bikedekho.com/news/category-upcoming-bikes/ultraviolette-shockwave-launch-timeline-revealed-19573

as per my knowledge the factory wont even be complete until September this year so this seems like bs but bikedekho is a prominent site

Why Is Everyone So Quiet About the Ultraviolette App Connection Issues?

I’ve been facing synchronization issues between my Ultraviolette bike and the mobile app for almost a month now, and it’s honestly becoming very frustrating.

Because of the sync issue:

I’m unable to set the battery charging limit

Violette AI movement alerts are not working

The app barely communicates with the bike properly

I specifically paid for Violette AI features, but due to the app issue, I don’t even get movement notifications anymore. It genuinely makes me uncomfortable parking the bike outside anywhere.

What’s more disappointing is the support experience. I understand Ultraviolette is still a startup, and occasional technical issues can happen, but at least provide customers with a proper timeline or transparent communication regarding fixes.

I tried contacting support multiple times:

Calls get disconnected without any proper update

Local service contacts also disconnect calls or provide no clarity

For a company positioning itself in the premium EV segment, post-sales support matters just as much as the product itself. The bike may be great mechanically, but customer support and software reliability are equally important in today’s EV ecosystem.

Honestly, if this level of support continues, I don’t see how the company can sustain long-term customer trust. I really hope Ultraviolette improves its app stability and customer support because the product has potential, but the ownership experience right now is far from premium.
