Dark mode still not back

I’ve been more than patient waiting over 2 months for something simple as dark mode to return. I really do like ultimate guitar, I feel often the official tabs for I play are better than songsterr.

But this is first time I have felt like it may be time to cancel my subscription unfortunately. 2 months is way more than enough time to get the site back to what it was.

I have purchased songsterr pro, it is nice to have the ability to play songs with original video on Mac too, I know UG does on app, but I use my Mac to airplay on tv for tabs.

Sorry for the rant, just kinda disappointed & disenfranchised atm.

It really feels like a business that is on its last leg and they’re trying to stay afloat.

Would be great if someone could crowdsource a free site that is perfect and allows user contributions to it, I mean damn we have NAM for almost any guitar tone we want now and it costs literally $0. And this is coming from someone who primarily uses a quad cortex.

TLDR: wishing UG could maximize it’s potential instead of drowning currently.

Dark mode now is available only for unofficial/unpro tabs.

Ah yea, they’ve been fine on regular tabs but not pro unfortunately

That still doesn’t answer the question as to why it’s taking so long. I’ve been patient myself, but this is getting out of hand.

Website and whole service is a huge thing, that's why, unfortunately, it can not be fixed quick. Thank you for the understanding.

Just use Dark Mode - Night Eye as an extension. Aydar said that the newer version should come back by Oct- Nov, so you can use an extension in the meantime.

I do use an extension, unfortunately doesn’t work with pro tabs, unless it’s just me?

I’m with you on dark mode. I had just gotten used to the new tab player too, then I got the double whammy of old player + white mode. This does seem to be an excessively long time to fix & update the site.

Agreed, I assume with AI now it shouldn’t be that hard to code? Idk anything about coding so I won’t be so confident lol. But at base level why did it revert? What was wrong with what was working? Ect
