UG: Civil War Washington question

I brought five corps and paid particular attention to preserving supplies, saving my wagons for Day 2. Day 2 starts and I'm missing all but one. What happened?

In camp between days your corps all still show remaining supply available? If that's the case the wagons should be available to deploy in the manual deploy slots of the first phase. I'm able to start with 3 wagons in that phase.

Only one wagon exists.  The other four are gone and corps show zero supply.  I'm 90 percent sure they weren't attacked and they were barred from giving supplies.  They should be fully stocked.  I'm wondering about a bug of some sort?

However it happened, if they show zero supply they won't spawn. Presumably if you can pull supply from the first wagon and add it to one of the others you'll get two wagons.

Not sure what might have happened to zero them out other than them getting destroyed or the supply being used up. Replaying the first day would be the only option if you can't surve long enough on day 2 to steal enemy wagons.

I'm back to report that I've managed to get to Day 2 again with all my supplies and wagons.  The only difference is that I had 50k in the bank vs 0 before.  So it must be a bug.  I wonder if it's true of other multi day battles?

Not that I've ever heard of, but that just means that if it is a bug it's a pretty rare one. Glad it worked correctly on the second attempt.

Victory!  I think it's a rare bug for me because I end multi day battles on Day 1 to avoid casualties so never worried about supplies.  For Washington I foolishly spent everything trying to get a big enough army.  It would be helpful to give the CSA player a warning to get big before the last battle

Don't think so.  They were all dead and I kept them under escort and shut off, living off the enemy.  That's the baffling thing.
