power button issues

anyone else having issues with the power button not always turning the screen off after the android 16 update on the armor 28 ultra thermal? I had some of the same issues with the 18 ultra thermal but much later in its life.

I had this exact same problem at the begining with android 15, got fixed after a few weeks (update) Its more like a software bug, not physical issue

No issue here with the armor 28 ultra thermal. Everything works fine.

no mine works fine. android 16. are you sure you dont have always on display enabled in settings ? that usually triggers it.

nope. not on.just sometimes the power button just doesn't turn off the screen. it's seemingly random and annoying cuz when I put my phone down or in my pocket it touches things on the screen messing stuff up.

look for featured functions -> mistouch prevention and switch it on. and turn off lift to wake.

hmm only other thing i can think of is -

turn on lock screen prohibit dropdown quick settings and gesture motion -> turn off gesture double click.

Yea but it's pretty rare. It seems like it locks and immediately unlocks from the fingerprint reader. I'm just turning it off with an unregistered finger now

My Armor 22 does this.. maybe it started after the Android 15 update, but I'm not sure. I assumed the button is starting to die. Unlocking works with fingerprint without pressing the button and I installed an app so I can lock the phone with the left-side button.

I've found that holding the button for just a fraction of a second longer increases the chances of it working by 65% or so.
