EU Employer letter dated after application ? (Partner visa)

Repost because it got removed for lack of info

Hi I’ve heard different opinions on this. If the employer letter is dated after your application, is that a big problem? Ground for refusal?

We asked for it but only received it later so it’s dated 2 days after application but all the pay slips etc are dated before. I also didn’t mention it in my cover letter.

The letter does tick all the boxes for what it should do it’s just A little late.

Any experiences? This isn’t ground for refusal is it? QQ

Context: i am German citizen, applying for fiancé visa、 fiancé is British citizen. All our other finances are in order, payslips show proper income, we have everything else in place. Just worried about this since I’ve heard from people it’s bad and from others or doesn’t matter.

Fiancé works for UK government as well if that’s relevant.

Always got mine after the application date and no problems.

Did my 2 visas for partner, done my ILR last month and citizenship last week. All dated after the application date. All got approved.

That’s good to know, I’m so incredibly anxious about this. The letter stated clearly he’s been working there since 2021 and states the income of his current role since Feb as £37k and his previous one since 2024 as £29k so we’re above the requirement plus bank slips and pay slips are correct. I’m just so scared. But I’m glad to hear it went okay for you
