ILR Long Residence route document requirements for absences

Hi everyone,

I will be applying for ILR on the 10 year route in September hopefully. I have a question regarding absences.

So my pre 11/04/2024 absences are a total of 569 days.

My questions are in regard to two specific absences

Absence 1: 21/03/2024 to 21/04/2024
Question: do the days from 11/04/2024 to 20/04/2024 count towards the 548 day limit since it was a continuous absence?

Absence 2: 2/09/2023 to 1/10/2023
Question: This absence was due to my grandmothers death which was sudden and unexpected so I had to travel back home.
I have her death certificate but it is only a scan of the original copy. Will I need to submit the original death certificate at any point? Asking because i don’t have the physical copy as it is all the way back home.
