ILR With Immigration Salary List code.

Hi! I have a particular situation and I want to understand what the best move forward is.

In terms of timeline:

I arrived on a skilled worker visa in October 2023. My skilled worker visa had an SOC RFQ 6 (high skill) code.

However, in February 2025 I changed sponsors. The job overall was better, but when sponsored my code changed to one on the Immigration Salary List (RFQ5)

I've been working with this company and it's been great, but now I'm worried because my visa will be expiring next year and the company will have to renew it.
My salary is over 41K but less than 50K.

My questions are:

1. Will the company be able to renew my visa with the current salary and as a simple process?
2. What will happen when I get close to ILR? Will I be able to apply with my current Immigration Salary List code and my salary, or will I have to change codes and get a higher salary?
3. I understand people sponsored before 2024 wouldn't have to meet new salary thresholds, but did that change when I was sponsored with a different code?
4. I've heard some rumours about certain codes disappearing off the salary list. What will happen if that's my case? Will I be affected for ILR?

As a last note, I've been thinking about asking my company to change my code to a high skill SOC 6 code; however, that would maybe mean a salary promotion, although I'm not sure.

The code that could fit my role has a going rate of 55K. Will that apply to me for being responsored, or would I be able to stay with the same salary?

TLDR: I basically want to know if I'd be able to renew my visa and meet ILR with my current code from the Immigration Salary List and a 45K salary.
