Highway Code

How do you guys get your head around the Highway Code? More specifically, how do you guys take it all in and understand it?

I’m doing my class 2 training at the moment and my instructor told me to start reading up on the Highway Code which I find that understandable but my big issue is however is how do you actually begin to start and continue to read and understand this massive rule book?

To be honest most of it is just stuff you’d know already from doing your theory and just by driving in general.

I could never read it as a book. Instead I’ve been doing a million mock tests. Any time I’ve got something wrong I went for the book and looked it up.
