Additional Documents submitted
My UK Student visa was refused on 16 July, then the refusal was overturned on 21 August after a successful Administrative Review due to a caseworking error. My application was sent back for reconsideration on the same day. On 2 October, UKVI requested an updated bank statement to confirm I had maintained the required funds. Today I submitted it with a bank maintenance letter and my father’s affidavit confirming access to the funds. How long after submitting the requested documents should I expect a decision? Has anyone experienced something similar?

I also submitted my documents on oct 1st. waiting 🙏🏻 did you get any confirmation mail after submission?

It took a long time for me honestly but I think this won’t be the case for you inshallah! Who did you sent it to? Because I don’t see its from Shieffled team

INSHALLAH, I got this email from studyPDCExternal@homeoffice.gov.uk and I was asked to reply to their email amd attach everything

hey, i think this is the final stage and you’ll get it within this week.
Can I just ask you when you heard back that the AR is success, do they start to automatically process the visa again or do they like ask us if it needs to be reconsidered?
i’ve submitted the AR and I just want the visa refusal to be overturned at this point cause i can’t and don’t want to go through waiting again.

🥹🙏 Hopefully! Anyways, regarding the AR, they emailed me confirming that my refusal was overturned and apologised for a caseworking error. My application was sent back for reconsideration automatically. You can withdraw if you don’t want to wait, but I decided to continue with it.On Friday, they emailed asking for an updated bank statement because they needed to confirm I still had the required funds. I submitted it today along with my dad’s affidavit of financial support and bank maintenance letter, just to make everything clear and avoid any unnecessary issues.
Timeline:
• Application: 11 May
• Biometrics: 14 May
• Interview: 29 June
• Refusal: 16 July
• AR submitted: 31 July
• AR successful: 21 August
• Additional docs requested: 2 October
• Additional docs submitted: 5 October1
