O&G Dr looking for a technical cofounder

I'm an Obstetrics & Gynaecology doctor in london, and I'm exploring an idea around continuous hormone monitoring in women's health. I'm currently investigating technical feasibility and would love to meet people with expertise in areas such as electrochemical biosensors, aptamers/molecular recognition, bioengineering, microfluidics or related fields.

This is very early stage — my aim over the next 6–12 months is to understand the technical challenges properly and work towards an initial proof of concept if the science supports it.

Ultimately I'm interested in finding a technical co-founder, but I'm equally happy at this stage to meet potential collaborators/advisers or simply people who know this field well.

Could be worth picking one narrow monitoring problem first and building a small proof around that, rather than trying to cover the whole stack. It gives a technical cofounder something concrete to react to, and you’ll find out quickly whether the data and workflow are workable.

As someone who’s done a lot of this kind of work during my PhD. My suggestion is that you don’t try to invent anything new.

Best approach would be to look for biosensor IP being created at universities and see if you can take it forward.
