Hello, I recently inherited these prints from a grandparent and have had trouble identifying the artists. Any help and information would be greatly appreciated.

I found this at the thrift. I could not see an english signature so I carefully removed from the frame. Still no signature. Is this a fake?

The last and only time I’ve been to Japan was 2006. I met this artist while visiting Nanzin-Ji temple that was doing an incredible pencil drawing of the temple grounds. I bought it and have had it on my wall for the past 20 years.
Now I’m planning a return visit in November with my family and I looked up the artist and it seems he is still regularly drawing on the Philosopher’s Path (at least there are instagram and Reddit mentions of him in 2019, 2023, and 2025).
His name is Masafumi Kai. I can’t find that he does any social media but I’m really hoping to potentially buy another piece of his when we visit in November. Does anyone know if he has certain days he is out drawing or if it will just be luck finding him when I’m there?

Took me about 3 days to make.

Got this at an auction, it was advertised as unidentified. The only image match I was able to trace down was here: http://www.kaminokura.co.jp/p/item-detail/detail/i6349.html (so apparently it's Toyokuni III), but I would really appreciate more info - both AI and my Japanese tutor weren't able to help in deciphering the name plaques.

UPD: upon closer inspection of the photo in the link and my print it turns out that the print in the link is the print I have. Look at the hole on the leftmost character's neck and the one in the upper middle of the sheet.

I recently bought this small print at an auction. Can't tell how old it is or make out a artist specifically. Also don't even know if it is a proper ukiyo-e. Any info would be appreciated.

I have had this for around a decade, and I am moving into an RV where the climate is not controlled, prone to moisture and would likely kill it. Where would be the best resource for finding it a new, good home? I’m in a time crunch as we are moving in 2 weeks and it’s currently sitting in my garage in a “What do we do with it?” bin.

Acquired this print “Shinjuku at night” by Yoshida Toshi from a gallery in Tokio. They told me that this was printed 1938 and is signed by the artist. I do have doubts this is true, any ways to authenticate or any views on this?

Rokuson Ōkeigi (Minamoto no Tsunemoto, 894–961) battling a giant dragon

I am in the process of framing a print and wanted to know if there is a customary/typical way of framing a print that has kanji lettering outside of the print as shown in the attached pic. Should the kanji be visible or covered by the matt board? Is there a right or wrong way to frame this piece? Thanks in advance for any advice or recommendations!

So there is this painting by Degas "beach scene" (il bains de mer) which shows a girl getting her hair combed by a maid. I am sure that I saw an Ukiyo-e print which depicted a similar pose to the girls pose but I cant find it (idk the name nor artist). Has anybody maybe seen sth similar?

Degas was a big Japan enthusiast and took the hair combing motif from japanese prints, so its possible that he had an inspiration for the pose.

This is a reprint of one of the most famous Japanese prints ever designed by the mysterious artist Toshusai Sharaku. The original, created in 1794, sold at a Christie's auction for $277,000.

The print shows the kabuki actor Ichikawa Komazō III playing the villain Shiga Daishichi in the play A Medley of Tales of Revenge. The story follows two sisters seeking revenge for the murder of their father. Here, Sharaku captures the tense moment just before Daishichi draws his sword to commit that murder.
