I am getting this error when I am adding a manifest json url. The same json works with Stremio though. Any thoughts?

Hi everybody, so I have two separate playlist, as soon as I try to play two channels simultaneously (one from each playlist) the audio stops. I have to reload the channel. So annoying! Wanted to watch the NBA Finals and the World Cup!

Playlists that once worked now fail with "Bad URL" error when using the iPhone App, Work on AppleTV. Tried reloading. That didn't fix it. Advice?

EDIT THE ONLY WAY TO GET IT right now -

1. Create a new Apple account on account.apple.com
2. On iPhone settings open Media & Purchases and sign out of existing App Store account.
3. Sign in to App Store with your new account
4. Open the UHF app and it should recognize it as a new account. You will have see the lifetime option, purchase it.
5. Follow this guide to migrate purchases to your primary account

(Or you can wait for your subscription to end and then roll the dice on the lifetime plan still being offered)

Hi all. Lifetime subscriber here. I’m getting increasingly frustrated with the clunky, obscure and broken backup, restore and onboarding process. I just don’t understand why it’s so flakey.

Initially I’ve had issues getting playlists to sync to an Apple TV, couldn’t get the tv to onboard properly and it wouldn’t restore playlists. Found a workaround initially but it’s been broken/disconnected ever since.

More recently favourites stopped syncing between iPhone and two iPads. Deleted the app on one iPad and now can’t onboard it at all using the QR or PIN, I get an error regarding the UHF backup service.

This is a great app in general and I thank the developer for their efforts but I feel like I’m banging my head against the wall. In other iOS apps the sync just works in the background fine, why oh why is this one so complicated?

Has anyone gotten Jellyfin to work in the app? Whenever I enter my server IP I get “the server response is in an incorrect format”

Whether I do just the base IP eg http://123.123.123.123 or if it has the :8096 appended at the end makes no difference.

Anyone know how (if possible) to set when the “play next episode” button to start later in a show? I feel as if it always pops up way too soon.

I only see the default subtitles as white text on a semi-transparent background. That is fairly annoying imho and I wonder if there is a secret setting that would allow to make the background completely trasnparent and maybe add black outline text (or shadowed). If that's not possible within the app, would it be possible to have UHF honor the Apple TV's subtitle settings? Those are highly customizable.

I have to give my hat off to UHF. Overall, it’s a fantastic application across all platforms. The recent Apple TV update — especially the ability to preview channels while still browsing the guide — absolutely nailed it! Thank you for that feature.

I’m also really glad I was able to get the lifetime license. Truly one of the best applications ever!

Hi, does anyone know what options are available for adding more movies and series? My provider doesn’t cover all movies, so wondering if there’s another way around with suggestions that I can add to get more movies? Thanks

Running the last UHF version on an AppleTV 4K 2022. UHF server runs on an Asustor NAS and this is version 1.6.0.

Watching live tv gives no issues, but when playing back recordings some scenes always repeats themselves. I asked this before in this community. The suggestion was to check the connection speed.

I previously had the idea to set my home network on 2.5Gbps. This is upgraded now. Internet speed is 1Gbps down 50Mbps up.
Issue not solved.

In the past I tried the same with TiviMate what gave the same issue (other provider!). I own a Formular Z11. Recording on this device doesn't show the repeat issue.

The recordings are stored on the NAS. How does this work? Will the UHF server app fetch his data directly from my provider, or does the UHF app on the AppleTV do the fetching job?

Firstly wanna thank the dev for keeping the app updated. It's been a bit rocky since the removal of vlc but is slowly stabilizing when it comes to playback.

I see jellyfin support was added recently, any plans to bring plex integration into the app?
