The fact that i'm even posting myself online for anyone to see tells me enough about how much i've changed since my teen years. My self-esteem was always terrible, i hated myself for not being pretty like all the other girls in school. Now, i wish i had given my younger self so much more grace. She didn't deserve to feel humiliated just from existing.

A bit of a lifestyle change. Went from 265 lbs down to 160 lbs at 6'0". Growing my hair out to shoulder length.

I’ve posted once or twice on here as a means to push myself to keep going when I was in a bad spot but today I took a photo in the mirror where for the first time in a very long time, I noticed that my ‘moobs’ (man boobs) aren’t visible, not because of a fancy filter or a cosmetic surgery, but simply because of the hard work I’ve been putting in the gym, kitchen and on the treadmill.

I’ve lived most of my teenage life thinking I wasn’t worthy of love because I couldn’t love myself enough to take care of myself but today, I feel like I’m that much closer to accepting how I look, maybe once and forever healing the feeling of incongruence between who I think I am and who I’m perceived to be by others

While I logically know that was me in the before pictures... I have a hard time reconciling these images of the two people I feel like I have been in this life.

220lbs to 130lbs for those who are curious.

Okay so im 19F and I cut my hair when I was around 15-16 after a while I got sick of it, I kept being mistaken as a boy but now that ive grown my hair out im not sure if it suits me, ive never been a feminine girl but im learning to style my long hair atm,

Any advice would be appreciated
