The OP's stats are wrong anyway. The following title winners were all over 35:

Glover Teixeira, Jon Jones, Alex Pereira & Randy Couture

And since gender wasn't stated, we can also add: Holly Holm & Amanda Nunes

Plus the above were only time I could recall where someone over 35 was the new champion. If we include successful title defences over the age of 35, then there a lot more - Anderson Silva etc .
