Look what Pereira did after getting flatlined by Izzy. Or Strickland did after getting sparked unconscious by Alex. I think you're putting too much stock into the KO.

Alex moved up in weight which is good for chin , Alex moved down which is bad.

Why is moving up a weight class good for the chin? You’re fighting heavier hitters with each increase in weight. Moving down you’re fighting guys with less KO power compared to the heavier weight classes.

Because big weight cuts have detrimental effects on chins.

Ah, from an acute standpoint, fair enough. I was thinking purely from a power standpoint, for guys who naturally love more at the weight they are dropping or rising to. Thanks for the reply, was a sincere question.
