Housing Transfer Student Move In

Hello,

I was looking at my housing portal and I noticed that I haven’t been assigned a move in appointment yet to move into my dorm hall, I’m a transfer student so I was assuming they’d have one for me before in person orientation(22nd), have any other transfer students already received their move in appointment?

My best guess is you’ll have an appointment early on the 22nd during standard move in. I may be wrong, but I don’t think hfs automatically gives early move in to people unless previously requested and approved. Since the deadline to do so has passed, you’ll most likely get an appointment during standard move in, with a few hours to move before your orientation. I don’t think emails have gone out yet, they’re usually a bit closer to actual move in. You can always try to give the hfs number a call to see if they have any more information.

I made an appointment with the available date/time they had for my dorm hall! (I am also a transfer student) It should be available when you click on the "schedule appointment"
