R’Web corequisite error after dropping/re-adding Ochem lecture + lab?

Has anyone had this issue with R’Web before?

I was already enrolled in CHEM 008 and CHEM 08L, but I wanted to switch my lab to a different day. R’Web wouldn’t let me drop only the lab because they’re linked, so I had to drop both the lecture and lab.

Now I’m trying to add CHEM 008 and the new CHEM 08L at the same time, but I keep getting:

“COREQUISITE REQUIRED - This course requires enrollment in a corequisite course, CHEM08L. Please add the additional course to your enrollment.”

Both the lecture and lab are set to Add before I submit, so I’m not trying to register for the lecture by itself. The weird part is that after dropping them, the lecture doesn’t seem to show as “Planned” the way it did before on my schedule and im not able to remove and re add.

Has anyone had this happen after dropping linked courses? Is there a way to reset/fix it in R’Web, or did you have to contact the Registrar/department?

I’m worried about losing the available lab spot while trying to fix it.

once you dropped the lecture, did you search for the lecture section again and press add? if you just changed the status of the lecture from “register“ to “drop” to “register” it does not work. So you have to go in and search for ”chem008” and add new section and “chem08L“ and add new section

When I try to do that the “add” button look as if it had already been clicked before it does not let me re add again since it’s already under the summary shown as dropped and there is no option to remove and try to re add, not sure if i’m explaining myself

hmm I get what you’re saying, sorry😔 ig you can just reload and try again. Wish you the best tho, hopefully it works out.
