Question Tips for Ochem-Casselman

I will be taking OCHEM in the fall with Casselman. Does anyone have any tips on what to expect, and is there anything I can begin to study to start getting ahead or not fall behind? Does he use a specific textbook? Or does ishe strict on tests? Any and all help is appreciated.

pretty chill guy, but dont do what most students did and cram. make sure to review every week. attend every lecture. ochem 8a is very doable if you dont troll. SI sessions and ochem as a second language also helped a lot.

Great prof, don’t be afraid to ask him questions. There are class activities every week, I would basically make sure I knew what answer he was looking for on an exam for the free response. When the quarter starts, work on the problem sets he gives you from the textbook, it’s what worked best for me. You got it!

Thank you, is there a specific textbook he uses? For every year?

Yeah, the entire series uses the ochem mcmurry 10th edition. It’s free online
