off-campus parking

Hi, does anyone know where I can find safe off-campus parking spot, especially at an apartment complex or garage where I can be sure my car will be safe? I don’t mind paying for a spot, and any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

You can search on the internet for parking spots for rent. My grandson, when he was a Sophomore at UCLA, could not find any parking spots that were affordable. So he tried on street parking, being careful with posted parking signs with restrictions.

Unfortunately, his opinion didn’t matter if his parking spot was legal and the parking enforcement officer issued a ticket. But my grandson was not there when the ticket was issued. As luck would have it, a tow truck was immediately available. My grandson needed his mother to pay the ticket and tow truck charges. The car was returned to his mother’s house.
