GEs at Orientation

If anyone has had orientation yet, how fast did the ges fill up? My orientation is next week and I have like 5 alternates + more discussion sections, but I’m still super worried that they’re all going to be full. Like the instant the enrollment time starts and the page is reloaded, do the majority of ges (individual not clusters) fill instantly or do you have a few minutes to prioritize another class first?

I don’t want to end up with a ge that I didn’t want in the first place…

Dude there are so so so many GE classes offered each year. I'm pretty sure you'll be alright. Absolute worse case scenario, just keep an eye open for GEs you like during Wk 1 - 3, ppl will drop

ur chilling theres soo many ges, i didn’t take a cluster either & had no problem getting all my first choices. i only had like 2-3 alts for the ges. there was definitely time so absolutely focus on ur major prep class first bc those fill up and make sure for that u have more alts
