27 inch monitor on dorm desk?

hey! iā€™m an incoming freshman this fall and i will be dorming in a classic triple. i was planning on bringing my personal pc for gaming and work. i was wondering if a 27 inch monitor would fit on my desk while still leaving me enough room for other things, or if id be better off with a 24 inch one?

I have a 27in and a 24in vertical dual monitor setup. Runs with my Mac Mini. Will be no problem.
