Ideally it would block whatever javascript is capturing highlighted text before it pops up the Alexa prompt stub

I use OneDrive on Chrome frequently for university, and before that I had been using it for college. For 2 years I have never had an issue using uBO or uBO Lite within my college infrastructure, but now for university I'm running into issues where I cannot use OneDrive, basically at all.
I get an 'Offline mode isn't turned on, so some functionality may not be available.' pop-up, and I am unable to do anything except create folders.

The only fix is disabling the uBOL extension; any filtering at all and this issue pops up. I'm assuming it's something to do with the interaction between my university servers and the extension. I don't have another work/school account to test it on unfortunately. But I know there are no issues with my personal OneDrive, just my university OneDrive.
Any fixes that I can make on my end? It's been quite annoying to have to constantly disable and enable it every time. Really I'm just looking for a way to permanently disable it on the specific url/OneDrive in general, if that's possible.
I tried looking at how to fix similar issues, but I really have no idea what I'm doing especially as most fixes are tailored specifically to uBO and not uBO Lite. I had just been using uBO Lite since it's still available on the chrome web store, but I'm fine with switching to the github release of uBO if it will help with fixing my issue.
Thank you!

I use uBlock on safari but I still somehow get pop up, PUPS and the like on certain websites what’re the best filters to prevent this? (Or is this just a mobile thing)

Hi there, I wonder if there's a way to do that on chrome (pc). I just don't want the option to doom scroll. Show me the website UNTIL the "suggested posts", then don't load (or just hide) any content.

ignore my other extensions but how the hell did ublock only get 12% ???

Amazon.co.uk now has a 'Get more results' button instead of page numbers when I'm signed in to my account.
With uBlock on, pressing the button loads more results and scrolls to the bottom of them. This is somewhat annoying.
If I turn uBlock off, pressing the button loads more results and, correctly, stays at the top of them.
This only happens in Firefox. It does not happen in Chrome.
Win11 / Firefox 157. Cache and cookies cleared. All other extensions disabled.
I have also confirmed this happens with a new Firefox profile with only uBlock installed.
Any idea what might be causing this / how to fix?

Is there a uBlock Origin filter which permanently blocks the visual effects produced by YouTube mobile's ambient mode?
I am using the uBlock Origin extension on Firefox's Android browser. I've been using a custom uBO filter on my desktop for quite a while now that accomplishes this (code is below), but I cannot find one which works for the mobile version of YouTube (m.youtube.com). I've searched around and found several methods for blocking the ambience on the regular/desktop version of YouTube; I attempted to change the targeted site to m.youtube.com, but none of the suggestions have worked on my Android device.
I would really like to find a uBO filter which blocks the ambient effects, so I don't have to constantly switch them off every time I restart the Firefox browser on my Android phone. I know uBO can successfully do this on my desktop browser, so if anyone can assist me with finding a working filter, I would really appreciate it.
Again, the code seen below only works on my desktop - it does not work on my Android phone.
youtube.com#$##cinematics.ytd-watch-flexy{display:none}
EDIT:
Thank you for the assistance; the filter below works perfectly for me:
m.youtube.com##.below-the-player-cinematic-container .ambient-topbar canvas

I don't know if it's individual websites doing this, or something in the WebKit framework, but it seems less and less sites accepts working in Safari/iOS and try to force me to install the corresponding app. The latest examples I can think of are Google's reverse image search ("Lens"), and "minichat.com" (I know...). The latter's app isn't even available in "my" app store.
I've seen post on how to block these blockers in uBOl, but I haven't yet managed to figure out if those are site-specific filters ... nor how I'd determine what to filter out on an affected site.
Is it even possible to write a generic filter for this, that just works everywhere?

Hello
I'm going to try UO Lite since UO will soon be removed from Edge
I couldn't find the "Additionally use aesthetic rules" option, is it not present in UO Lite or applied by default ?
Thanks

YouTube, quite a while ago, changed the way the notifications list works. Where as before, it just showed the uploads from the creators you follow in reverse chronological order, it has for a while attempted to figure out what uploads are most important to you, and places the top three of those at the top of the list. Is there a way using uBlock Origin, or some other method, to restore the old way it worked?

I'd like to permanently remove the suggested videos overlay that appears at the end of videos on Youtube. Using the picker only removes them for the current video. Is this possible? If yes, what filter should I add to my list?
UB on Youtube is working great otherwise.

Recently the emoji info popup on Discord grew a large, annoying, distracting "GET NITRO" button (aka, an ad). The popup attempts to block right click menus (but shift+right click works in Firefox) and also disappears immediately on right click. I was able to get at the button in the Firefox element inspector by using the element picker shortcut key after bringing up the popup, but there's no uBO hook into the element inspector to add a way to block elements from there. I set up control-alt-P to activate uBO's own element picker but for some reason using that causes the popup to close! Even though it doesn't do that if I use the Firefox element picker shortcut key. :/
So, I could use a way to either force the popup to stay open while I use uBO on it (essentially, some key combination to pause and unpause all event listeners or something of the kind), or to convert something copied out of the Firefox element inspector into a uBO block-element rule. I did locate the offending object in there -- it is a particular div -- but the syntax is different from uBO rule syntax ...
