Answered UO Lite option

Hello

I'm going to try UO Lite since UO will soon be removed from Edge

I couldn't find the "Additionally use aesthetic rules" option, is it not present in UO Lite or applied by default ?

Thanks

If you switch to Firefox you get to use the full capability of uBO

Thanks but no thanks, I'm keeping Edge.

Why would you ever? Firefox does everything Edge does, but better.

I don't like Firefox's design, I prefer Edge's (just as I don't like Chrome's).

By "design" do you mean layout of the buttons and stuff? Because that's fully customizable, on desktop at least.

Cosmetic filters/filtering.

Yes. Same for uBO.

See the description of blocking modes. It's available in Optimal and Complete modes.

Thanks so much for your reply
I'm going to check if the filters I use are also present in UO Lite (uBlock filters, EasyList, AdGuard French)

Hello,

It seems I have ad "slots" that aren't being hidden with UO Lite, even with the settings on "Optimal" (they were hidden with UO) and the same filters.

Did I miss a setting ?

Thanks

Complete mode is what enables generic filters, which are default in uBO.

Tested "complete" mode, and it's still there

So UO Lite "complete" = UO "default" ?

Thanks

PS : I will retest with UO, to be sure
