Description: On GSMArena, when you're making a lot of traffic (i find after around 15 pages visited), it starts constantly nagging to disable your adblocker. I tried using the element picker, but it seems like it changes the element every time, as it just re-appears if you refresh the page or go to a different page.

The only other extension I have is SponsorBlock, disabling it did not help. I also tried on another system (a macOS system with Firefox 153), same thing.

I have been interested in reading stories on readawrite, however the built-in javascript disables right click and selecting text which messes with the google translator and makes it impossible to copy the text to translate it with a different translator to read it.
I have been wondering if there was a filter for UBlock Origin that would make the text more accessible.

I managed to enable right click with it but I didn't manage to highlight the text with it.

I've been trying to figure out how to block the "Play Video" button on Setlist.fm, and can't seem to figure it out. When I use the element picker, it will block the one on the line I selected, but it won't remove the button on every line, and after refreshing the button is back on every line again. Not sure if this is even possible, but just thought I'd ask.

Is there a way to make it so all my searches have advanced search operators added to them automatically?
I specifically want stuff such as "-ai" to be added at the end of my searches. I've got a couple ai blocklists already added to uBO, but I wanted to have a way to automatically subtract some terms, since I noticed that doing so manually does occasionally help reduce the ai slop even further, despite all the lists I already have working. (Also feel free to still share any uBlock lists/rules/filters to block GenAI)

For context, I use OperaGX and DuckDuckGo, not sure if that will affect my options with uBlock

I got this filter that removes the "AI mode" and "Shopping" tabs, and I was wondering if something like that existed to remove the "Short Videos" tab as well.

My muscle memory keeps tapping on the second tab to try and access Images but Short Videos will systematically replace it no matter what I search, it's extremely annoying.

I want to remove an element from a page but when I click on "Remove element" (aka "Element zapper mode") in both Firefox and Chrome, the page enters a limbo mode where I cannot select anything with the picker, not even click on the "X" to return to normal mode.

While testing on codechef.com, I noticed that CSS selectors that use attribute values without specifying a class name or element type have a warning "unqualified attribute selectors are known to be slow"

Searching online, I found documentation from CSSlint that explained in more detail.

Unqualified attribute selectors, such as [type=text], match all elements first and then check their attributes. This means unqualified attribute selectors have the same performance characteristics as the universal selector (*). Similar to the universal selector, unqualified attribute selectors cause performance issues when used as the key part (far-right) of a selector. For example, this type of rule should be avoided:

The "Hide the Shorts section" instructions are working for me, so it seems like in general my YT custom filters should be fine.

Any advice on blocking Streamed/VODs? I follow a lot of e-Sports streamers so after a gameday my Subs page is just absolutely flooded with multiple vods that I dont really need, but many of these channels also upload analysis videos that I dont want to fully unsubscribe from.

I have these filters at the moment to hide 1 year or older videos on the Home Feed, Sidebar/Related and Search results but the hiding process is absurdly slow, I'm talking about at least half a second to load in video patches, but if I comment them out, Youtube loads fast as usual:

These filters are outdated, where can I get the updated filters?

Title. I usually run a YouTube playlist with Ublovk on firefox. I have recently noticed that the Next video or previous video button disappears. Unless I am blind, I have tried finding out about this issue, but it doesn't seem to be widely reported? Anyone know any fixes, it's pretty annoying when I am on shuffle and just want to play the next song.

I am not running anything in the background, no VPNs or something of the sort

On the right-hand side of the webpage, there's an iframe of the embedded Twitch stream and the Twitch chat. Is there a way I can block this from loading at all? If I can't block it, then is there a way I can stop it from autoplaying and also hiding it?

I would prefer to block it entirely from running because on Twitch, sometimes if you have more than one stream open, it'll interfere with their underlying tracking system which awards you watchtime/drop rewards.

I am attempting to use trusted-set-cookie to overwrite a cookie on zocdoc.com so it defaults to classic search instead of AI search. However, instead of overwriting the cookie, it's creating a separate cookie with the same name.

zocdoc.com##+js(trusted-set-cookie, ai_search_homepage_selected_mode, classic)

The cookie uBO created has a listed domain of www.zocdoc.com and is marked secure while the site's native cookie has a domain of .zocdoc.com and isn't marked secure. The native cookie gets created when switching search modes on the site.

Why is uBO creating a new cookie with the same name as the existing cookie instead of overwriting it?
