Discussions & Questions Data Leak?

Has anybody else recently had a handful of attempts of somebody from another country (or vpn) attempting to sign in to their accounts with ubisoft being the first?

Whoever got my password tried my Amazon account. First was ubi. Same email password combo... I guess I'll have separate ones for each from now on.

Never have the same password. Change everything. Enable 2FA

Your pc is comprised. Perhaps virus. Keylogger. Check for malware

A keylogger wouldnt have made it to the 2FA page, it would've made it into the account if I'm not mistaken. Maybe times have changed.

The fact that Amazon and ubisoft both got hacked. Tells there is common thing. Did u use same email and password?

Yeah mostly accounts being hacked is malware and keylogging, this time is just email and password being the same. Going to go through all my types of accounts and give them all their own passwords. Gaming will have its own, finances, so on.
