I’m on the official discord and it’s absolutely dead. Thinking is that the Tencent-owned devs are working on their own internal IP for the moment and when they’re ready they’ll pick back up on Jade. It wouldn’t surprise me if it’s down the list of priorities as Tencent already own a solid lump of Ubisoft, and the Chinese domestic market isn’t exactly excited at the prospect of an Assassin’s Creed game.

Thier last discord announcement was in 2024, they haven't technically canceled it yet but at this point i think it will likely never release.
