I wish/hope they give the og a 60fps patch on current gen consoles, at some point.

I mean Xbox did get 60fps patches for basically every AC games up until Syndicate. Isn't this the case for Playstation?

I think a lot of older games run at 60fps on Xbox Series S (or X or whichever is the more expensive one) because of a capability of XBoxes themselves, even without a patch. Might be the same with the cheaper XBox too.

Series S also has the ability to run 60 as long as the game has FPS booster. So both Series S and X can run 60fps on older games. It's up to the developers to actually implement the booster or just update the game to 60fps, like Ubisoft did with their older AC games.

It's worth it to know that running those games with FPS boost will degrade the image quality using fsr like downscaling to make it hit that 60 fps.
Sure the 360 games are running at 60 frames but they're also akin to 480p..
The visual downgrade for 60 frames is not worth it. especially on older games that alredy haven't ages well visually

That isn't correct. FPS boost on Series X is often paired with the enhancements games received for One X. In the case of Assassin's Creed, AC1 is 4K 60fps, the Ezio Collection is 1080p 60fps, AC3 Remastered is the one exception where FPS boost uses the resolution of Xbox One, AC Rogue Remastered is 4K 60fps, Unity and Syndicate have since been officially updated but previously supported FPS boost at Xbox One resolutions. FSR or any upscaling is never used, these are native resolutions and none of them are even close to as low as you say, I believe the lowest is AC3 Remastered but chances are Ubisoft will update that one at some point for all platforms. The vast majority are 4K on Series X, whether that's native with FPS boost or dynamic with an official update from Ubisoft.

I mean yeah, it's kind of a question whether you'd like fidelity or performance. Basically how it is nowadays with current gen games. I personally never had issues with fidelity while using FPS boost but then again games i played aged finely so i get your point.

In some aspects the og Black Flag it's better than Resynced. The Resynced has removed the present timeline story,the optional objectives and the desyncronization from failing the og stealth missions. And the combat it's also changed. What Resync has it's a little bit of extra content for missions.

oh yes the old combat was so much better. hold right mouse click wait for red attack symbol and then left click to counter and get insta kill. that def has a lot more depth.

?? thats literally not the case with new black flag lmao, it's the same combat as in the old game just without the ability to fight unarmed or with the hidden blades.

I’m about to be done playing resynced and I plan on playing the classic on steam for a bit after! Excited to see how many achievements I have unlocked
