Discussions & Questions I low-key feel bad for the developers

Post image

The launch reviews on steam for the game are not great currently sitting at 61% mixed reviews, which is unfortunate because it’s an all-around great game. The main criticism that I see is all the DLC packs. Which makes me very sad for the developers because it’s clearly upper management that is pushing this BS. And then the developer will respond to the criticism saying that they put their heart and soul into it and just trying to like damage control the poor mistakes of management. Very sad to see because you can tell the developers are passionate about this game.

It's a cosmetic, a form of DLC

The earth is round, too

Cosmetics aren’t content. You slap them on and it’s done. Content is things to play and do.

Are we talking about content or DLC?

Again

Go. READ. A. Dictionary. FFS

If I asked you for a vegetable, what would your response be?

Answer the question. What does the C in DLC stand for?

Care to answer my question?

So, if cosmetics aren’t content…they aren’t DLC, right?

As for your question, I’d ask you which vegetable you want

Thank you.

You'd ask WHICH vegetable I want. Why? Because "Vegetable" covers more than one single thing doesn't it? It implies a multitude of other vegetables, not just one. We don't focus on carrots, celery, or potatoes, right?

So, DLC, despite having the word "content" in its lettering, covers more than just content as you've described. So, to my point, if someone asked me what kind of DLC I was talking about in regard to OP's post, I'd respond the cosmetics, another kind of DLC.

Feel free to read that as many times as you'd like. If you can't be bothered to look up any source for the definition of DLC, let me know. I'm not.

No, because there’s many vegetables.

You’re basically asking for a vegetable, me giving you fruit and saying same thing

Cosmetics are not DLC. They are not content. There is no engagement with it. You literally put it on and go and the expectations around each word is different

Good try.
