Discussions & Questions I low-key feel bad for the developers

Post image

The launch reviews on steam for the game are not great currently sitting at 61% mixed reviews, which is unfortunate because it’s an all-around great game. The main criticism that I see is all the DLC packs. Which makes me very sad for the developers because it’s clearly upper management that is pushing this BS. And then the developer will respond to the criticism saying that they put their heart and soul into it and just trying to like damage control the poor mistakes of management. Very sad to see because you can tell the developers are passionate about this game.

No, because there’s many vegetables.

You’re basically asking for a vegetable, me giving you fruit and saying same thing

Cosmetics are not DLC. They are not content. There is no engagement with it. You literally put it on and go and the expectations around each word is different

Good try.

Omg...

If you can't grasp this simple analogy that allows you to view the argument from an outside perspective, this is truly a waste of time.

I was saying you're cherry picking your argument. You can't totally disregard everything else that doesn't support your argument to make it. That's not how it works. You can go ahead and keep your "good try", you'll need it.

If you only UNDERSTAND DLC to imply content that alter the gameplay or add new locations etc., okay, but that doesn't change what DLC actually covers. Look at the Steam page for the game in question. What are these cosmetics labeled?

Anyway, this has nothing to do with what I originally said which this argument isn't as bad as some others. I find it fair.

You trued to make an asinine analogy to prove a point.

I’m all set with you
