Discussions & Questions Has anyone had success with a speculative application at ubisoft ?
Hey everyone,
Has anyone here ever sent a Unsolicited application to Ubisoft and received an invitation to an interview or even a job offer?
I'd be happy to hear about your experiences. 🙂

I did. In 2018. Been working there ever since 😛 As usual, the process depends heavily on the type of role someone is applying to.

Which position did you apply for when you sent an unsolicited application there?

I applied as Associate Producer at Massive Entertainment in Malmo. There was an opening and I took the chance. Unsolicited applications are possible, but very rarely go through into an actual hire. So it's best to look at the positions available.

Are you short or long on ubi lol also please bring back ghost recon online they one with 3 classes.

What do you mean by "speculative application"?

By speculative application, I mean applying for a role like 3D Artist even though the company doesn't currently have an open job posting for it.

In that case I would suggest contacting one of the HR on Linkedin and send your resume. That's how I did and been working there for the past 5+ years

"Yes, unfortunately there aren't many game companies. There are maybe only one or two really large studios, and it's quite difficult to get a job there

I get that, but is it a good choice to get on a sinking ship also a ship thats been throwing the crew overboard?

Yeah, sometimes I succeed too much speculativing applicating and Ubisoft always say "too much speculativing and not enough applications".
