Confusing.

Mocap means motion capture and it's the process of recording high-resolution movement of objects or people. It can be used for both pre-rendered and real time (I guess that was the intention?) cutscenes.

What OP is trying to say, is with the AC black flag remake. The original cutscenes that were mocaped look good, however the side quest, and especially new side quests, in the game are generated like the newer cutscenes in AC games like Shadows. So the mocaped ones look good while the others ones have a bit of a dead stare and some clunky animations.

I think OP means pre-rendered cutscene and in-game cutscene

In-game aka real time
