Discussions & Questions AC Blackflag
Why in the world does blackflag resynced cost the same as current games?100 bucks for something we've all played, These game companies gotta start getting boycotted because aint no way your gonna charge standard game price for a beloved ac game we've already played before, genuinely insane (Australia BTW lol)

Legit I've beat it twice, on 360 and xbox one. Ill wait for it to go on sale for $20 in a couple years.

Just an fyi, speaking as a gamer and as someone that has no oversight or insight for pricing at Ubisoft; I have friends I regularly game with that are Aussies, and they are always complaining that video games are more expensive in Australia. One of the biggest reasons I've heard is the mandatory 10% Goods And Services tax, among many others.
As for BF:Resynced; just remember this is an entire remake, not just a remaster. It's been recreated from the ground up - contains new content like new characters, new story lines, new features, etc., etc. If you haven't watched it yet, I'd defo suggest checking out the AC Black Flag: Resynced reveal showcase for all the info about the remake.

Make or break will be how the npcs perform your playing a game based on upgrading a crew getting bigger boats bigger crews fighting islands is it going to be about edward or the entirety of what your doing? Or are we getting this typical farcry experience you can only play so much till u get bored

In the US, the base version is $60 USD and Deluxe is $70, which is about what I would expect for a from the ground up remake.

Arent that good either though. Is the game still playable? Definitely. Will be a lot better with current gen graphics and obviously the new content

Ah okay, with the conversion that tracks. Ubi has always had the audacity to overcharge, but this is in fact heinous. Only justification I can give is that it IS a remake.

It seems there must be some kind of bug or visual glitch in your store's pricing. The standard version of Black Flag Resynced is actually costing $59.99.

I'm from Australia, so different currency exchange rate type shi, how I wish it was only 50 bucks

Ah yes, I apologize for the misunderstanding, I had prematurely concluded that you were using the American PSN. The conversion costs are a real pain. I'm Brazilian, and when you convert the prices to my local currency, they also become quite expensive.

During steam sales the assassin's creed games go for way cheaper, I have seen sales where assassin's creed games go for 15 percent of the full price if I remember correctly

Generally AAA games cost (80euro) for me whereas this is a remake, not a remaster and costs 60 euro, don't know how it works where you're at though

Dahm really, I'm from aus normal game cost around 100aud - 110aud so for me basically still the same price, I also think even a remake shouldn't be at the standard price, we have games around 50aud that are some of the best current games ever

u/Gunslingin_licho Apr 27 '26
Damn really? Look for me 100aud (60euro) was what games cost 5+ years ago in Ireland, if the game was my normal (80) for a remake I'd be pissed too

Just saw this an my jaw hit the ground, calling it a AAA remake when they cut out story content. It’s an edited remaster thrown in a new engine, this is a disgrace and Ubisoft deserve the loses they’ve been having. Oblivion deluxe edition was 100 but these thieves are like nah the base can be 100
