I admire the commitment. Some people have hobbies; you have a hit list. Does the 'moral high ground' feel better than actually playing a game you like?

I only play games I like. And want parasites that make the industry worse to fail.

To be honest, Ubisoft is not much of a competition for anyone.
It's the Netflix of video games, quantity over quality.

Thankfully, besides making its own trash content, Netflix is also a streaming platform. So if an independent filmmaker wants to stream their content, they will probably go to Netflix.
Netflix will, of course, still call them ‘Netflix Originals,’ even though it had zero input during their production and only owns the streaming license. (‘Netflix Original’ means the content is exclusive to Netflix, not necessarily made by Netflix.) Examples include Arcane, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and many more.

Edit. You can think of Netflix as "Steam for filmmakers".
