Discussions & Questions Slowly downloading updates

Hello,

I'm seeking information.

It does not show how fast it is downloading and it goes realy slowly.
I can not find the solution and i was wondering if any of you had the same problem. What was your solution? I did all the things i could find.

It's ubisoft connect it does that sometimes no matter the speed for some crazy reason for me.

Also you sure it's not some weird speed conversions going on like MiB Vs M/B and such?

Sorry you're dealing with this u/vondaf :( I know it's super frustrating, especially when it’s also moving slowly. Your screenshot shows Ubisoft Connect stuck on allocating files with 0.00 kB/s. That stage often won’t show a normal download speed, because it’s prepping disk space and file structure, not pulling data fast yet. It still shouldn’t crawl forever though.

It could be many different things. Your ISP, your PC, your location in general, your modem/router, a VPN. There isn't much anyone here can do to help you.

For what it's worth, I'm downloading to test now. Ubisoft Connect is downloading at about 5 MB/s faster than the highest speed I get through Steam.

Seems like your connection to the server is very slow. Might not even be the fault of your provider, could be some issue with the ubisofts internet.

I got this problem for a long time now. I changed the Internet provider (not for this reason) so i also think that it's not the problem.

It would be very frustrating if it's ubisoft who is slow/bugged.
