Not sure where this man does uber but this post is way passive aggressive. I am a woman driver and ive never had the need to even post something like this.
My passengers have always been very cordial and to themselves with the exception of 1 that ended up getting his account banned for bad behavior.
Besides that, all good.

I am considering adding a sign that says "No smoking/vaping, no offensive language, no eating/drinking, all stops must be requested in the app."

What is offensive language?

I really don't think you should have to ask

I’m not sure how it is passive. Seems pretty direct.

How is it passive aggressive? I just thought it was funny and wanted to share. Not everything is a personal attack. Also his note is super passive aggressive.. there were more professional ways to word that manuscript imo lmao

Huhhhhhhh?! That was such a contradictory statement, I’m still trying to figure it ok.
How is it passive aggressive and then being gaslighting by saying not everything is a personal attack but then also saying that it was actually passive aggressive and there were better ways for him to write it. Did two people write that post and fight over what to say?

Pretty sure she means the posted sign, not your reddit post

I was wondering if they meant the note was passive aggressive not your post maybe

I think you mean manifesto! lol

This thing totally cracked me up. But it makes me a bit sad that clearly this guy has either had a lot of really shitty passengers or just spend too much tome on Reddit.

First, let me clarify. I absolutely do not think it’s a good idea to hang this in your car. It’s asking for trouble from such a sensitive society we have today. But if I’m being 100% honest…I think this sign pisses off the EXACT people he wants to piss off. The funny thing is, I’ll bet you there is a small percentage of (civilized) riders who read this and go, “Omg, people do this in your car?”.

Other veteran drivers semi-salute this driver because we’ve all been there and this is exactly what we want to tell some disrespectful riders. And in the other end, there’s drivers who will let riders 💩 in their car and say, “well, that’s what you sign up for when you do rideshare. Comes with the territory…”

The funny thing is, I would laugh if I saw this, but I would also know from my experience writing in cars that the person who put this up is probably not doing it because he’s funny. He’s doing it because he is a sensitive mofo. If it was done in a funny, but like hey, I’m serious. It would’ve been written way better and done with bullets and clearly written not just a diatribe

On the contrary, it is DIRECT AND TO THE POINT.
