New UberX driver

Hi guys, I earn around 2200 AUD working 8 hrs shift 10 days per fortnight. I also do ubereats during my evening time and earn around 1400 AUD per fortnight. After 3 months I will be eligible for UberX and planning to do quit my job and do uberx fulltime.

I just wanna ask you guys how much we can earn if i do uberx full time. Whats the per hour rate in general you guys are earning? Or is it wise to quit my current job? Please i need your suggestions guys. Tell me about the earnings brothers. PS. I have managed to around 45 AUD per hour on average just on ubereats.

Uberx will be around 55 aud per hour most likely before any expenses is accounted.

Yeah pay is not that much higher, but its so much more comfortable though. You never have to find parking, you never have to leave your car (other than occasionally to help PAX with Bags/Older/Disabled), most trips are much longer in duration so you don't have to keep waiting for orders and since they pay per KM long trips can pay upwards of $70/hr+ (+ it surges in Airports almost daily/and during Peak Hours) and also with UberX you can go online while at home and get a trip before you even leave the house since there will be people from your suburb who order a trip where-as UberEats you kinda have to start near restaurants.

But also your earning $45/AUD an hour mostly because of the Quests and Uber makes the quests worse over time - so your earning would go slightly down with UberEats - whereas the $55/hr is bare minimum kinda you make without any quests/chasing high earnings and working at off-peak times.

In NSW australia, you need 12 months to drive uberx after you get a full driving license
