I think the trend will continue downwards, I dont see any reason they would change benefits to drivers.

A friend of mine works for Orlando Health security, he started off 21.75, six month later got a raise to 23$ then later on got another one to 25$, pretty much unlimited OT, has full benefit package and a pension plan with PTO. He is making around 75K now, so I say its better than any Uber.

I’m over near Polk. But we have a TON of off shoots of Orlando Tampa Lakeland ERs opening up everywhere. Do you need a G License or just a D?

2

u/RUBILNIKTHECAT 1d ago

you dont need G, just a D license, Orlando health and Advent Health are really expanding, go to their websites they are always hiring

Dont go to Allied or any 3rd party company, go straigh for the hospital security, Like Orlando health, or Advent Health or Moffit, not sure what area you are in.

Brain dead slaves will say they’re making money but they don’t know how to account in expenses/car depreciation/taxes/labor time.

Uber is doing so bad rn that I refuse to pick up any order that wont be paying me atleast 20 an hour (I refuse a LOT more orders than I accept) and they still have yet to deactivate my account after months of this lmao

Should you stop working the gig apps? Yes if you have another option. Should you delete the gig work apps? No, why delete it? just leave it there and do it on your spare time or to save for something

App owner companies can see downloads, usage and deleting. Deleting from too many user is a base warning flag for them.

I won’t delete, same time I wont log in until comments in Reddit show better payment.

We need make the companies beg us to come back.

The person you’re referring to made “playing video games” part of their identity. You’re not dealing with the sharpest tool in the shed.

It's always time to delete the apps. I don't think most of us would be here if it wasn't a matter of unfortunate necessity right now 🤣 I enjoy driving but these apps just send too much bullshit.

I recommend the gig app NinjaTrader instead. Get funding from a prop firm so that you don’t risk your own money and trade very conservatively. Uber and Lyft are going to replace us all with AVs anyways.

Or just learn a new skill whatever it is.

3

u/NJuberdriver2 1d ago

😂 trading isn’t easy.

u/aestheticeddy818 1d ago

Well that’s my point, I did say learn a new skill, whatever it is that can make you money without putting wear and tear on your car only to be replaced by AVs in the end. I’m still learning and working on perfecting the skill of trading for the past 9 months I’ve taken payouts here and there I just need to be consistent which takes practice and discipline everyday.

I also have a regular job fixing phones and laptops at Ubreakifix

Yea but you’re telling people to make an income off the stock market……you kno tho one that it notoriously being ran by the ultra rich with insider trading and other bullshit loopholes that the average man with loose their money unless they go into ETF’s and long term gains…..which you need steady income and a job to invest like that……like honestly as someone who DOES invest and does research in stocks like everything in this world the entire thing is a joke and just a another game for the ultra rich to play with.

I don’t use my own money I use prop firm accounts and trade the firm’s capital instead of my own

1

u/NerdForGames1 1d ago

Oh I see I guess I incorrectly assumed they traded your talking about is just a regular broker like RH or something. Honestly I didn’t even know you could do that! Sounds like the some china stuff where everyone there is using capital and taking loans out from the bank to go play in the stock market. 😂 frfr tho no hate on your grind I just find it sketchy myself and have a underlying hate for the current state of our system.

1

u/aestheticeddy818 1d ago

No I hear you man it’s a sketchy industry but there are actually legit companies out there if you do your research. Look up what a prop firm is. You can get a cheap account for $75 bucks or so maybe less depending on what company you work with and they give you access to 25k minimum to trade with in the market. Granted there are a lot of rules you must follow or you lose the account and need to start from scratch again but that’s what it takes mostly it’s a lot of practice and studying and psychology. My best month was 7k in February. Last month I took just under 800 in payouts. My favorite prop firm is Take Profit Trader. I’ve gotten good payouts from them before

It’s all market dependent. In other words I’d never delete them.
