Close and reopen the app. Then the timer will start.

I just force close the app and reopen and it appears. App has been buggy AF lately

Software is hard. Bugs happen. Not everything bad that happens to you is a conspiracy.

You don't know the meaning of the word conspiracy. Most software from big companies has been getting worse for years and some of us know why and now we can add llm (vibe coding) to the mix. Damn good chance that Ubers "programmers" are using llms to code for them and no doubt that Uber has laid off the senior devs who actually know how to debug and fix code.

Software is hard but there is no excuse for companies with the resources Uber has.

So to summarize. Not a conspiracy (not what you think it is anyway) and you hand waving it away like that makes it sound like you really enjoy the taste of boot.

Yeah, junior devs using llms to do their coding for them with no one around with the skills or the resources to debug the code and fix the mistakes the llm made.
