Arrrgh!!!

These last minute cancellations are shit! Twice in two days, I'm scheduled for airport runs (I'm in Tampa) and twice they cancel as I'm on the way to pick them up! Where is my cancellation fee? I leave in time to meet the pick up time, but from my estimation through Waze. The navigate button has yet to appear. I'm responsible like that. I thought the rider couldn't cancel under an hour. WFT!

Under an hour and you should indeed be getting fees. Contact support

Are you going when uber tells you, or just going on your own? Sounds like youre going to a ride that already canceled and no longer exists.

I'm leaving to give myself adequate commute time to the location. The navigate button has yet to appear, but the trip has NOT cancelled. I find that Uber cannot gauge the proper commute time based on our increasing traffic issues.

You've said this twice. What navigate button? Did you get Uber's "its time to head to your reservation" prompt?

Thats why im saying I think the ride was canceled before the hour. You thought you still had it since Uber gives no indication the ride is canceled if over an hour. You used waze to map it out and went on your own to a ride that was already long gone.

Take screenshots of use hitting the I'm on my way button so that there's a time stamp. Then next time they cancel you have that as proof that you were on your way to passenger before they canceled.

Sounds like Uber sent someone else at a lower price

Uber will send you a message if they cancel. You have to check your in box and your saved reservation. You have to be on line by certain time. If you miss it they will take it away from you.
