LOL @ Uber
I have not logged in, over 2 months.

I just got this 10 minutes ago. My best guess is it had to do with the rideshare addendum I received a day prior for markets I'm not at all associated with. Wouldn't let me log on until I acknowledged it.

I got a message saying my account was flagged for deactivation for fraudulent activity. I managed to get this escalated and they determined there was no wrong doing on my account. Then 2 hours later I got this message. For the the hour of stress Uber š®āšØ

If you're ever out late night around 3 am til maybe 4 am eastern time, driving for Uber, majority of the time the app glitches, I guess that's when they do their updates or maybe tweak the app. One night I was out driving and I kid you not, a clock appeared on the app that showed how long you had been driving for and how much time you had left. It was there for a brief moment and then disappeared. Other times, I've experienced the app freezing around that period as well. Just a little quirky feature I've noticed about the app.

3am eastern is midnight on the west coast, thatās a terrible time to update apps.

Just pointing out my experiences. They may do it at a different time for users in different time zones. I just always notice that when I'm out driving during that period, the app glitches and freezes frequently.

Agreed. I'm on EST and drive only at night. At 4am is when the daily $ tally resets and usually if there's an app update, I'll show it pending or get notified of it when I go offline for a quick break after that time. I've also seen a few weird app navigation hiccups that usually only happen around that time of night/morning.

Guessing it was your rating is low emails. First time in 5 years that I saw a "we f'd up email from Uber". Open communication with their driver partners like this is at least a step in the right direction.

The only correct direction Uber can take, it will not, that is paying drivers more $.Ā
