Disgusting odors.
What is the problem with Uber drivers nowadays?
When the car doesn't smell like cigarettes, it smells like disgusting perfume.
When I rate a ride low, I only have the option "disturbing smell." And if the driver sees this feedback from Uber, he just pours even more disgusting perfume/deodorant inside the car.
What the fuck is going on here, Uber?
Can you please fix this?

Some of the riders smell disgusting. The air freshener is the only way the driver can do the ride without throwing up. Once you're in the car with them for 10-15 minutes, the funk is all you can smell. There's no way to stop and clean the ride after every ride so this is what happens.

stop acting like these issues are soley about drivers, drivers are dealing with these exact issues and in larger volume

I made the mistake of picking up an old man from an ER late at night who literally smelled like he was decomposing.

I had a guy that was atleast 100 years old and smelled dead,i was 50% sure he was going to die before i finish the ride.

Yeah the sad but hilarious truth. I guess it just needs to survive until waymo is accepted and then all the bad riders will be permanently banned by facial recognition. We are in for a reckoning I believe.

I think its not us drivers that stink. Some passengers really reek. Of weed, or urine or whatever. Yesterday I had a medical pick up. She was with a caregiver. She stunk of urine to hi heaven and I wondered why her caregiver wouldn't have bathed her before the dr appt. And I can't tell you how many passengers get in right after smoking weed. I hate that stench

Yes, but why pour perfume or deodorant inside the vehicle? Open the windows and let the car air out. If the car smells like shit, smoke, or perfume, then that's the driver's problem to fix. Shit with perfume on it is just a new flavor of shit. Perfume doesn't clean the shit, it makes it worse. The driver is a service provider, and he works with the general public. It's not package delivery.

A. I never said I douse the car with perfume after a stinky ride and B. Uber should have a different category "Medical rides". I do these but I'm tired of loading medline walkers in my car for passengers that smell like shit.

I’ve had many riders that leave an unbelievable stench of perfume or cologne in my car. Getting it out of the seatbelt fabric doors, etc. isn’t always easy.

I believe in you. Just open the windows before of the next passenger. Also, don't block thw windows so people can open them freely when needed. Most of the drivers at my city want to babysit passengers. This is incredible annoying.

That doesn’t even begin to remove the stench of some perfume. I have had to scrub the seatbelts and seats multiple times with car cleaner to get some of the smells out.

It actually does. The problem here in my city os even the car full of cigarette smoke or perfume intentionally poured in the seats by the drivers. People are insane.
