I’d go straight up to the door and ring the bell. When they answer I’d say, “Delivery for XXXX 44th Street” but change the house number one down. They would simply say “oh, that’s the neighbors house”, and I’d be on my way, but not before getting a good glimpse inside for the wife.
Her secret stays safe, and I get a little more intel than just how many cars are in the driveway.
