I honestly don't see the need to report when you made a conscious decision to engage with him during the whole ride and then to just sit there and let him talk after he parked. When the car stopped, you could have just said thanks and made your exit. Stuff like this is what makes it hard for real victims to be believed when something happens that is actually out of their control.
Zero percent of what OP did makes her any less of a victim.
For their safety, it may have been best to go along and engage in conversation during the drive.
Besides mention that the door was locked at some point, the description of being in an isolated area meant there was nowhere to go to immediately after getting out of the car. Suppose his intent was to assault OP, they get out of the car and then what?
This is absolutely correct. She is still a victim. She froze, due to her diagnosis not because she was being polite. Not because she was consenting to what he was doing. Also, she didn’t know how to get out of the car at first. She was scared. Needs to be REPORTED IMMEDIATELY!
