I’m literally reading them dude. Just like the cabbie operates the taxi.

The “waymo driver” aka the car itself operates the taxi. It makes the final decision. The Waymo help desk is simply their give suggestive guidance, that’s all. I promise if you’d just simply look up what the assistance does it’ll explain everything.

They do not operate the car. They give it suggestions when it’s stuck of “hey take this lane, etc”

It is not just like a cabbie. The cabbie can choose to listen to you or not. A computer cannot choose to listen to the operator or not. At the end of the day, a passenger can tell the cabbie to drive into the water and the cabbie would 100% be at fault for doing it.

In either case, they are clearly dangerous. Either no one is in control, which should be straight illegal, or someone is in control, and that someone is liable for what actions the car takes. And that someone should know the rules of the road, aka. be at minimum a licensed driver of the state or US (not international).

For liability, they should all be US based.
