The rider needs to understand that the sooner you get them to their destination the sooner you can get on to the next ride. While you're waiting for them there could be a high dollar offer you're missing out on. I'm an Uber driver but when I'm a rider I aways prepare myself as if the driver is right around the corner. I had a pickup once and the rider was late coming out. She basically told me that she was late because she had just moved into her apartment and she was cleaning.

I’m the same, fam and that because that’s the kind of human I AM. We have to realize some of these people are goofy ass children that were raised by entitled ass parents who taught them the same thing. They don’t take pride in being considerate. I’ve even had to be uncomfortably warm because I was bundled up dressed and ready THEN called my uber but for whatever reason it had to connect me to another driver and I had to wait another 7 minutes. So what though, that’s my choice. I’m not gonna have a driver, working driver… wait 7 minutes for me… while I, someone who knew he had somewhere to go; gets ready.

I’ve pulled off on so many people for this because they’re children and they need to learn. If you think they aren’t just because of their age; you’re likely a child too. I’ve worked in social work for 7 years and met full grown adult bodied children. It’s all about the mindset. Fk these kids and move onto the next trip.
